Waterjel Rebranding Frequently Asked Questions
What is changing in the Waterjel Product Line?
As part of our ongoing investment and emphasis into our flagship product line for burn, Safeguard Medical is introducing refreshed branding and updated packaging for the majority of the Waterjel product line. Branding and packaging for all Responder dressings and blankets, as well as the
Burn Jel line are being updated. Please note, packaging for Military dressings is not changing in color or design, but over time, will be updated to reflect the new logo.
Why is Branding being updated?
The new packaging is designed to enhance shelf presence, improve product identification, and create a more cohesive brand experience across the entire Waterjel portfolio, while also better aligning with Safeguard Medical’s RAMPART™ Color Coded Trauma System.
Is the formulation of the product changing?
No. While the look is evolving, the high-quality product and performance you and your customers rely on remain exactly the same. Dressings and blankets are made with our gel formula of 96% purified water and Hyaluronic Acid that soothes without ever having to rewet the injury, and do not contain Tea Tree Oil.
When will I begin seeing the new branding?
You will begin seeing the updated packaging in upcoming
shipments as we transition through existing inventory. You can track the
progress of our branding transition here.
Will there be cases in which one order will contain products with a mix of legacy and new branding?
What happens if I don’t want to receive a kit with mixed branding?
All orders will ship as they are processed. Customers who do not want to receive a kit
with mixed branding should notify Customer Service in advance of placing an order. These orders will then be placed on backorder until the branding is complete across the entire product line.
When will the new branding be complete?
We expect all packaging updates to be complete and ready to ship by early February. You can track the progress of our branding transition here.
