Product Details

The Russell Chest Seal® is a hydrogel-based occlusive chest dressing designed to manage open chest wounds in emergency and tactical care environments. Featuring a low-profile, four-aperture vent design, it helps maintain a secure seal while allowing air and blood to escape, supporting effective chest wound management.

Built on a patented hydrogel adhesive, the Russell Chest Seal conforms to challenging body contours and bony anatomy, providing reliable adhesion when it matters most. The flexible, compact design packs easily into trauma kits, while a large central application area and silicone-coated release liner enable fast, intuitive placement in high-stress situations.

Engineered for performance in demanding environments, the Russell Chest Seal has demonstrated reliable adhesion and valve functionality following storage in extreme temperatures. Its color-coded packaging also supports rapid product identification, helping responders make quick, confident treatment decisions.

Russell is a trademark, and rights to this and other brand identifiers may differ by country. RUSSELL CHEST SEAL is a registered trademark in the United States.
