The Safeguard Difference: The majority of hemostatic agents require three minutes of compression. Celox™ RAPID Gauze accelerates packing time and reduces compression time to just 60 seconds, all while using the proven hemostatic technology of Celox.

Celox blood clotting agents are composed of high-surface-area flakes that—on contact with blood—swell, gel, and adhere to form a gel-like plug without generating heat.

Celox does not activate the clotting cascade but rather only clots blood that the agent comes into direct contact with.
