Kobi Ludwin A pre-hospital trauma care career is one of passion. You get to know that you have the proverbial ’emergency medicine bug’ when trouble hits, and while everyone else runs away from the riot and mayhem, you run towards it to see how you can help. You learn a little bit more every day and become a better caregiver with every patient you treat, and that fulfills you in a way nothing else can. I enjoy my work so much that I became an EMBI Trainer in the NATO center of excellence for military medicine in Budapest – the journey never really ends when working as a medic in the military and volunteering with the Emergency Medical Services. My favorite thing about this job is knowing that we save lives every day, either by placing the best emergency medicine products available in the market in caregivers’ hands or by training caregivers to use them, or at times both. I’m a musician, and I have my own music studio, so playing either alone or with my band is one way I relax; another is outdoor cycling. My career began with a vision to bring the best and most innovative emergency medicine products to whom they will help the most into the hands of caregivers worldwide that save lives every day. The products’ simplicity, innovation, and accessibility amplified this, with a clear and meaningful statement: anyone can learn to save a life. Safeguard Medical has fortified this mission and shaped it to take our efforts to the next level, and I am honored to be part of it. The products’ simplicity, innovation, and accessibility amplified this, with a clear and meaningful statement: anyone can learn to save a life.
