Job Summary We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our proactive and hardworking warehouse team at our international warehouse in central Hereford. The successful candidate will be an essential team member contributing towards the fundamental warehouse processes of receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of specialist medical equipment and devices. As Assistant Buyer, you will be responsible for: Raising purchase orders and working with suppliers from the point of Purchase Order (PO) right through to goods delivery Maintaining an inbound schedule of goods arriving and dealing with any queries from the warehouse teams on receipt Processing order confirmations from suppliers quickly and effectively, liaising with other departments where necessary Resolving issues with suppliers including cross department Assist and work with specific project teams in new product rollout from a sourcing standpoint Assistance in negotiations with suppliers Provide research, data analysis and reports on department KPI’s Communicate lead times and plans with Sales / customer support teams New Stock-Keeping Unite (SKU) product master creation, maintenance and administration We invest in our team members and to ensure the successful candidate thrives, dedicated support will be provided in the form of on-the-job training by an experienced team member, providing insightful knowledge and understanding of this exciting role.
